Homeschooling: Lesson 8 - Nature Walk, Open Closed, Little Bo-Peep

We went out our discussion for Lesson 8 and showed him the goat outside the gate munching some fresh green grass. Had some talk about how plants grow a lot during rainy season and how mosquitoes breed a lot during this season. Explained to him that he should be careful with mosquitoes. His followup question was if there were mosquito eggs on the stagnant water. He was interested about mosquitoes so we Google and Youtube some.

Played with the rainmaker to show him the sound of rain.

We then discussed open and closed which was really easy. We opened the box for his toy and played Simon Says to open and close stuff.

We then read Little Boy Blue and sang Little Bo-Peep. I had fun myself playing the song on the Piano App my iPhone:

For his Things to Do, I had him use his red, orange and yellow to draw Little Boy Blue sleeping by the haystack and Little Bo-Peep.
