Homeschooling: Lesson 11 - Left Right Review, Stories Review

Reviewed left and right today. For the stories review, we read Lazy Jack and dramatized the story using his stuffed toys.

Used his toy cat for the cat that Jack held with his hand.
Used the toy horse for the donkey that Jack carried on his shoulders all the way home.

Today I realized that Dabby is a Tactile/Kinesthetic Learners and learns through hands-on activities and by experience.

Tactile/Kinesthetic persons learn best through a hands-on approach, actively exploring the physical world around them. They may find it hard to sit still for long periods and may become distracted by their need for activity and exploration.

This is for the story of Peter Rabbit. This is him pretending to be Peter Rabbit hiding in the watercan.

We used his blue stuffed toy rabbit and used his own coat and baptism shoes to dress it up.

This is him pretending to to be Mr. McGregor.

After such, we proceeded the worksheet and traced the corresponding story detail. He already knew Red Riding Hood by the way so we skipped it.

EXTRA:

I gave him my camera and told him to take any picture he liked. His shots were really interesting. Here are some of his captured stuff.

Above picture shows his previous circle chalk drawings on the pavement.
