Homeschooling: Lesson 19 - Pointillism, Review Poems and Stories, Directions

Covered topics for today:

  • Pointillism,
  • Review Poems and Stories,
  • Directions,
  • Responsibilities Chart
  • Helping Hands

"Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image."

For this project, he combined yellow and red to make orange.

We have reviewed his poems and stories - Jack Horner, Bloy Blue, Mother Hubbard and Humpty Dumpty were his classmates today. :)

Discussed with him about helping hands and the tasks that he can help mommy with. We traced his hands and cut them out for his chart.

We came up with his list of things to do. He drew a picture related to the activites:
Car for helping me with his toys
Pillow and blankets for helping me make the bed
Broom and himself (it looks like Humpty Dumpty though) for helping me sweep the floor
Clothes for helping me return the folded clothes

We are to offer him incentives of experiences for doing his tasks. :) For the first one, we told him we'd ride a taxi. He's stoked.
