Homeschooling: Lesson 17 - Purple Cow, Little Bo Peep, Little Boy Blue, Mazes, Games

Introducing the color purple!! We have been going on about the Purple Cow poem throughout the weekend because he loves it! We change the script to:

"I never saw a purple ____ ". Ranging from dogs, to slippers, to cars. Really fun.

Special participation of the iPad. I added his PDF lessons to me Evernote so I don't skim through the manual. it's distracting. I will add it soon to iBooks instead and try it out.

My cow looks like a pig. Forgive me. :(

So his idea was to color only inside the drawing because the crocodile might bite him if he colors beyond it.

Singing Little Bo Beep

Mazes! We created our own versions and he loved tracing them.

So Dabby's idea of a tossing game is similar to Tap Tap Revenge. We arranged paper plates for him to toss the coins in.

  1. Wow! What a nice site. Thank you for sharing your activities with your kids. I'm sure our family will find these good for our own homeschooling too. Are you using any specific program?
