It's really amazing what concoction you can make out of stuff you can find in the ref or fridge. We made this one on a boring Thursday and it was quick fix for our sweet teeth. It's really an easy, no fail treat.
1 pack Jell-o - Free from the Lola
1/2 box Nestle Cream
1/2 can Del Monte Fiesta Fruit Cocktail
Directions:
OMG there are directions?? Well yes. It consists of:
1. Cook Jell-o according to package directions. It's just 1 cup of boiling/boiled water. Mix for about 2 minutes. And then add 1 cup of cold water. Put in freezer for about 2-4 hours. Whatever, we're hungry.
2. Mix the fruits, the Jell-o and the cream.
3. Serve!
Kind of a lame recipe huh, but we enjoyed it still. It's sweet! And creamy! If it was cheesy too I'd be in heaven.
Anyway, this recipe actually reminded me of the "Window Cathedral" that Maam Romano from T.H.E. taught us to make in cooking class. It uses Knox gelatin instead of this regular orangy tasting gelatin.
yummm...gimme some, dabby...(;
